WE'RE CRAZY ABOUT THE CLASSICS

Our Certamen teams travel the state and the country, participating in and winning tournaments at all levels.

At the Illinois Junior Classical League (ILJCL) convention in February, our members participate in creative and graphic arts contests, tests, certamen, and colloquia. At the national convention, we are often the largest school in the Illinois delegation and have three members so far who have won a national Certamen championship.

We are proud to have three members on the state board this year: Sarah Pati, Parliamentarian, and Cooper Jurgeleit, Communications Coordinator, and Haley Morgan, Historian. At home we take part in many service projects and fundraisers, host a dance, and are an important part of student life at Northside.
